New stills from the season seven finale of GAME OF THRONES titled The Dragon and the Wolf. My feeling is the title refers more to Lyanna Stark (Aisling Franciosi) and Rhaegar Targaryen (Actor To Be Named Later) than it does Jon Snow (Kit Harington) and Danaerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). Though of course the title is more than applicable to Jon and Dany. In the stills though looks like there is some “marital” strife between Jaime and Cersei (Lena Headey). I’m hoping the spoilers I read about Jaime are true ….. shhhhhhh! Won’t mention them here. According to our Nikolaj filming begins on season eight starting in October and he said he’ll be reporting to set. That is very good news in that Jaime will survive this season. I’m hoping too he’s around for the War for the Dawn. I hope the foreshadowing of one line in Spoils of War bode well, I hope, for Jaime’s survival until the end of the series where Bronn (Jerome Flynn) said to Jaime as the Dothraki were making their run at the Lannister/Tarley forces about being a good commander. Lines like that aren’t just thrown out there willy nilly. Fingers crossed.

This coming episode should be interesting–so many questions, so little time! I guess all we can do is wait and then sit back for a finale we’ve all been dreading/anticipating simultaneously. Sunday evening is going to take forever… ;-p

With this being the second to last season my bet is this will not only be a set up for season eight, but also a humdinger all on it’s own. I guess this is the “finale we were promised”. LOL!

Thanks so much for stopping by. Take care.
