Variety reports that Coster-Waldau will join Binoche in A Thousand Times Good Night, an indie drama co-written by Harald Rosenlow Eeg. The picture was based in part on director Poppe’s experiences as a war-time photographer in the 80s, though Binoche will play that part as the lead, who is torn between her job and her family. There’s no report on exactly who Coster-Waldau will be playing in the film, which recently started filming in Ireland and will continue to Morocco, Kenya and Kabul for shoots.
