Not much of Nikolaj or Jaime in this episode, but wasn’t Nikolaj cute trying to cut that steak? I know Jaime lost his hand but I loved it when Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) used her knife to stab at the meat allowing Jaime to finally be able to eat. For all that work though all poor Jaime got was a small morsel. Didn’t like Brienne’s pink dress though. I think I like her better in her Kingsguard armor or in the dirty clothes she had on last week. I loved the part where it looked like Brienne was going to do serious harm to Roose Bolton (Michael McElhatton) and Jaime stayed her hand. There’s a screenshot of that in the gallery. I don’t think I like what might be happening to Brienne.

Nikolaj made a guest appearance on the last episode of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE in a small skit featuring guest host Zach Gallifinakis. The skit was a game show based on GAME OF THRONES and Nikolaj showed up to help in a visual clue. (Hint: Ruth Bader Ginsberg). So funny and Nikolaj looked great.

All I can say is just, WOW! Nikolaj gave a tour-de-force performance in this episode. The revelation he made to Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) was just amazing. I’ve been heartened by the comments on the various message boards I visit during and after the show airs. Most of them have been narrowed down to this, “Give this guy the Emmy already.” I agree. I loved how raw Nikolaj was. Though is it any shock to us, his fans? I don’t think so, particularly those of us who have seen him in VILDSPOR. I truly think Nikolaj is growing into his skin nicely…and what skin…and backside.

My apologies for not having updated in a while, however, I’ve had several personal issues I’ve been dealing with. My 89 year-old mother has been very ill and I’ve just gotten over a really bad infection that had me low for a while. I have Nikolaj’s last two GAME OF THRONES episodes, as well as a recent interview he did with Conan O’Brien discussing of all things running into George Clooney at the AFI Institute Awards and Jaime Lannister’s moral ambiguity. I also have a couple of magazine articles which I’ve scanned from the actual magazines and uploaded them to the gallery. I hope you like the new additions. I also hope you’re liking the new HD videos I’ve been uploading to the media site. I know I’ve been trying to give you the best quality I can get for your viewing pleasure. Let me know how I’m doing.

Anyway, how did you feel about THE scene? You know the one I mean, the one where Jaime gets his hand hacked off. I knew that scene was coming up but I just didn’t know it would be so soon. The next episode where Jaime’s dealing with the ramifications and Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) shaming him into living with it. I thought the two actors in Nikolaj and Gwendoline were just amazing. I’m loving the dynamic.

If Jaime hasn’t learned one thing with Brienne (Gwendoline Christie) it’s to shut up when he has the chance. Good to see our Kinglsayer again. He’s been sorely missed. And the beastly woman even mussed with his hair. How dare she?

I’m sorry I haven’t been around to post more, but I’ve had some personal issues going on. One thing is with my mother. She’s in the hospital and had to have life-saving surgery. My partner has also been ill and I’ve just felt my attentions were needed elsewhere. I’ll try to have some of the other things I have posted soon.
